Commanders Agree to Labor Standards on Stadium, Commercial Parcels

Major projects such as the redevelopment of Capital One Arena and the forthcoming RFK stadium project are fueling unprecedented demand for skilled construction labor.
A solid majority wants the RFK package to include a PLA that covers stadium, hotels and restaurants.
The grants are the first round of funding in a six-year, $24 million investment that aims to expand the pipeline of highly skilled workers to build Maryland’s critical transportation infrastructure.
